i'm in SHOCK the ca politics are driving me insane, taxes @10% as if that isn't high enough they voted on friday to make them EVEN HIGHER and then PROP 1A will add even more taxes if it passes...we can NOT continue to pay this much, very few can... is the state trying to make us all go bankrupt so that their pet projects can continue? or are they trying to run out all of the working, middle class, and companies so that only leeches on the system are left? if that's the goal they are reaching it at light speed.
and then to add to the fun --cali is making dark colored cars illegal! premise is that they are bad for the environment-
oh we can't forget that they tried to make mylar balloons illegal as well
this is INSANITY.

Worst Gift Award Goes to ....
it is so shocking that we would treat our greatest ally in such a disrespectful manner. i actually had to watch the video twice in order to get past the initial shock, i still feel sick thinking about this.please send a letter of apology, the british need to know that although the white house doesn't understood who are our friends and how to treat them, the members of our great nation do! i still can't believe they didn't even give brown a state dinner much less giving BACK the bust of churchill, and then "presenting" the british pm with 25 DVD's. sickening.(esp. considering obama's lovely video plea to iran)sick...sick...sick...

beck vs limbaugh
both are trying to save america, why do i gravitate to beck? i think it is his sincere, humble approach whereas limbaugh seems to care only that he leads the movement. he talks about all the liberals who quote him, mock him ,or who say it is his war. beck just talks about saving america, uniting people who believe that our nation was great and should be great and that good people live in it and should run it. one thing is for sure if we want our nation to stand tall and proud every decent person needs to stand and be counted.

These words bring to mind my newest hero....William Wilberforce (24 August 1759 – 29 July) 1833). After his conversion to Christianity his life style dramatically changed Wilberforce was convinced of the importance of religion, morality, and education. He headed the committee to abolish slavery in Britain, he was 1 man who was determined to see slavery end despite the lack of support from Parliament. He worked tirelessly to get support, and finally through the determination of this man the Slavery Abolition Act 1833 was passed.

TV = Porn ?
Kelli McCarty is a an actress who has worked for NBC ( on Passions) and Disney (on Even Stevens) she is also a former Miss USA , whose recent work incudes a porno of which she says.....
"It was a pretty easy transition, I think mainstream television is definitely starting to merge with the adult world anyway - it’s all about sex and nudity..."
I think everyone needs to pause and think about what that really means... reread it go ahead I'll wait...
Is TV "a gateway drug" to porn? I hope this quote makes you feel uncomfortable and forces you to ask yourself, what am I watching on TV? What are my kids seeing? on purpose? on accident? Am I comfortable with this? What can I do?
A quick analogy..Someone knocks on your door you open it an attractive couple enter your home ... they walk into your living room and start to yell at each other and then begin to make out as passion increases one thing leads to another and clothes start to fall onto your floor. What do you do ? Change rooms? Kick them out? Or just watch the show?
